Manchester United defender Axel Tuanzebe says Aston Villa have the know-how to clinch promotion from the Championship.

Tuanzebe aims to learn from Aston Villa's play-off final defeat last season as they look for another top six finish this year.

The on-loan United man told Villa's website: “We're mentally and physically strong; we're in a good head space.

“I'm buzzing to be back and we have a great chance of being where we want to be at the end of the season."

“Let's take it step by step and not look too far ahead. The Championship is a bizarre league and we can't underestimate anyone."

“We need to perform and get the wins that are required. We need to keep pushing and never give up.

“We had big characters last year and hopefully we can transfer the same passion and drive this time around.

“Last year was a big lesson. Hopefully we can get there this time."
