Manchester United defender Tom Thorpe admits he's taken inspiration from Phil Jones' arrival from Blackburn Rovers.
Thorpe is aiming to follow Jones into the first team.
"It's great to see," he told MUTV.
"Knowing he's only a year older, I know the level I need to move up to. He's a good inspiration and it's good to know you'll get a chance.
"Also I look at Rio Ferdinand's composure and how he conducts himself and Nemanja Vidic's aggression. There's Jones, Chris Smalling and Jonny Evans and I can still learn from them."
