Manchester United defender Phil Jones rates David de Gea the best goalkeeper in the world.
Jones believes De Gea's rapid rise is down to the tough start he endured to his Old Trafford career.
"I think that start is one of the main reasons why he is where he is today," Jones told the Manchester Evening News.
"It was a tough test and he's come through that with flying colours. You've seen the performances this season, he's been terrific.
"He's world class, there's not doubt about it. For me, he's the best goalkeeper in the world. There are no two ways about it; some might say I'm biased, but he's fantastic. The way he's progressed, you can't get any better.
"He just continues to get better and better, full credit to him. He's a humble lad, he's quiet, but he goes about his business the right way and he's a credit to himself. "
