Manchester United veteran Ryan Giggs is confident the recent setbacks experienced by the club will motivate them to push for a 20th league title.
The Red Devils failed to qualify for the Champions League because of a 2-1 loss to FC Basel earlier this month which came a week after their Carling Cup defeat to Crystal Palace and Giggs feels that the criticism that has come with those disappointing results have kicked the players into gear from a Premier League viewpoint.
"That's something you just have to get used to. You can't sulk or moan about it.
"We've had setbacks throughout the years and you learn from them and they can help in a way.""You're always going to get criticism here," he said. "If you're not top of the league there's something wrong and if you get knocked out of competitions you're always going to get criticised.
