Wayne Rooney's agent is ready to enter new contract talks with Manchester United.
The Sunday Express says Rooney's advisor Paul Stretford received a call yesterday inviting him for talks over the England star's future.
Stretford was at the club's training HQ last week but that was to do with a Nike marketing campaign involving the player.
The ball is very much in Rooney's court in the knowledge that other clubs, including Chelsea, are monitoring his situation.
