Manchester United may move for Borussia Dortmund striker Robert Lewandowski as a direct replacement for Javier Hernandez.
The Manchester Evening News says there are worries beginning to surface as to whether Hernandez is going to cut it despite the Mexican's initial impact two years ago in his debut campaign.
United continue to have an eye of Borussia Dortmund's £25m-rated Lewandowski. There was considerable interest in the 24-year-old Pole during the summer but the Germans managed to hold onto him having lost Shinji Kagawa to the Reds.
