Manchester United coaches have a firm belief that youngster Amad can be a first-team player when he returns from his loan spell at Sunderland.
The Ivory Coast international is with the Wearside club until January at the earliest.
He can stay there for the rest of the season, or United can recall him as well.
Amad, who joined United from Atalanta in January 2021, struggled for first team game time at the club.
Per the Manchester Evening News, United staff have been impressed by his displays at Sunderland so far this term.
They see him as having the physicality, speed, and creativity to make it in the first team in the coming 12 to 18 months.
