Manchester United fought off Barcelona and Real Madrid to retain their place at the top of the European Power Rankings. Despite bowing out of the Champions League semi-finals last week, Barca won the second leg and therefore earn three points, and they followed that result against Inter with a resounding 4-1 win at Villarreal.
Bayern Munich, Champions League finalists and German champions in all but name, break into the top 10 at the expense of Arsenal, who have now won just one of their last eight games in all competitions.
