Manchester United will not consider selling Robin van Persie this summer. The Dutch ace has been linked with a move away this week.
The Daily Mail says United manager David Moyes and the club's board are determined that Van Persie and Wayne Rooney will spearhead the club's attack next season and will resist any bids to lure the Dutchman away.
Van Persie was devastated when Sir Alex Ferguson retired nine months after taking him to the club.
But, asked about Moyes, he said: "He's working hard at it and so are we. It's easy to point the finger but I'm not like that. We have to do better ourselves."
