Man Utd chiefs struggling to identify upgrade on Ten Hag

Manchester United have privately accepted there is risk in firing head coach Erik ten Hag.

Per The Telegraph, Ten Hag has around a month to save his job at Old Trafford.

He is under trial, with new technical director Jason Wilcox set to run the rule over every aspect of his work.

The issue for United is that no suitable candidate may exist to replace Ten Hag at the moment.

The likes of Gareth Southgate and Graham Potter may not be seen as great replacements by the fans or players.

Thomas Tuchel is an option, as he has led Bayern Munich to the Champions League semi finals.
