The agent of Ricky van Wolfswinkel admits Premier League clubs face competition for the Sporting Lisbon star from Russia.

Zenit St Petersburg have been in contact with Louis Laros to be kept informed of Van Wolfswinkel's situation.

"Ricky has had a great season and at almost every game scouts come to see him, even from Russia," said the agent. "I think he'll leave the Portuguese club in the near future."

Earlier this season, Laros revealed: "I know they (Manchester United and Chelsea) are watching him but that is not unusual because they are watching all the best young players in Europe."
