Manchester United captain Nemanja Vidic is delighted to be 12 points clear at the top of the table.

United have been able to establish the lead as Vidic recovered from injury.

"It's nice to see the points gap. We are in a good position," Vidic said.

"We have a big and good squad and we adapt to the teams we play. We can adapt to teams who are playing the football and teams who play the long ball.

"As we have seen over the last few weeks, the team is always changing but the players continue to do their job and that is a good position for the manager to be in."
