Manchester United captain Bruno Fernandes and new club director Sir Jim Ratcliffe are facing an awkward first meeting.
Ratcliffe criticised Fernandes in his recent book, 'Grit, Rigour & Humour – The INEOS Story'.
In the first chapter, Ratcliffe recalled a trip to the Cook Islands where he witnessed a rugby player being 'carted off in the back of a pick-up with a broken leg'.
Praising his courage, the INEOS chief took a swipe at Fernandes.
He wrote that his behaviour was “a far cry from Bruno Fernandes clutching his untouched face in the Liverpool debacle recently".
