Manchester United midfielder Michael Carrick has suggested that United would need to find consistency in their performances if they want to be successful.
The Red Devils' form has been plagued with inconsistency this season and although they have registered impressive wins against the likes of Arsenal and Manchester City recently, they haven't been able to put down a decent run of results.
"It's football, sometimes it's tough to explain. It has been a funny season," the midfielder said.
"It has been frustrating because we know we have got performances in us, and you can see that against the so called bigger teams, but it's not enough.
"Consistency is the key to winning the league and doing well in it. You need to be consistent so that's what we need to get better it."
