Manchester United manager Louis van Gaal knows it is vital for top clubs to secure silverware.
The Dutch tactician has won over a dozen titles with Ajax, Barcelona, AZ Alkmaar and Bayern Munich during his managerial career and is now setting his sights on the FA Cup in his first season at Old Trafford.
