Man Utd boss Van Gaal frustrated in right-back transfer search

Manchester United are facing frustration in their search for a new right-back.

The Mirror says United have ended their interest in Southampton defender Nathaniel Clyne.

The Reds have also been linked with a move for Barcelona and Brazil right-back Dani Alves, but United sources have confirmed there is no mileage in that particular deal.

United need to sign a right-back this summer, with Antonio Valencia having played there for much of the season and Rafael Da Silva set to leave Old Trafford.
