Manchester United boss Louis van Gaal has discussed new contracts for several of his senior players.
The Telegraph says Van Gaal has spoken with executive vice-chairman Ed Woodward to discuss contract renewals and sales of players, including Rafael, David de Gea, Robin van Persie and Radamel Falcao.
Decisions have yet to be made on a number of other first-team players whose contracts expire either this summer or next.
But new deals for Tyler Blackett and Reece James yesterday is a sure sign contract planning is now well underway.
