Manchester United boss Erik ten Hag admits they needed the winning mentality of Raphael Varane against Wolves.

Varane was back for yesterday's 2-0 win.

Ten Hag said: "Varane knows how to win, so he can help us and guide the team in that aspect.

"He's proven that so many times, not only at Man United but for his nation, for Real Madrid. He knows how to win and win trophies, so we're really pleased that he's back.

"They are no easy games, we're aware of it. We have to give everything and we have to deliver."
