Manchester United boss Erik ten Hag has explained holding back new goalkeeper Altay Bayindir.
The Turkey international was left on the bench for last week's Carabao Cup win against Crystal Palace.
Ten Hag explained at today's Champions League presser: "You will see but we chose against Crystal Palace in the League Cup to play Andre [Onana] because both [he and Altay Bayindir] came in and both have to adapt to the English standard so that's why we prefer Andre to play in that game.
"It was important for him to use every game in this moment but we also have to progress Altay, that's clear.
"He makes a very good impression in training, he's progressing, we are very happy with it and we are convinced we have two right goalkeepers in the squad."
