Manchester United boss Erik ten Hag has welcomed the signing of Christian Eriksen.
Eriksen signed a three-year contract last week after choosing to move to United ahead of staying in west London.
After suffering a cardiac arrest at Euro 2020, the 30-year-old made a stunning return to elite football and played a key role in helping Brentford ease away from the relegation zone after his arrival.
Prior to moving back to the Premier League, Eriksen trained with Ten Hag's Ajax, the club with whom he made his initial breakthrough as a teenager.
“He's an experienced player. He plays in countries abroad, in Italy, in Holland, a long time in England, so he knows the Premier League," the Dutchman told United's official website.
“It's an absolute advantage that we have him in.
“I think he is a magnificent football player and I think the fans will enjoy watching him, because he's creative, he has ideas.
“I think especially our strikers will also be happy because he's the one who can involve them in the game."
