Manchester United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer won't write off Raphael Varane for the derby against Manchester City.
Varane is an injury doubt for Saturday's Premier League derby against Manchester City after the Frenchman suffered a hamstring injury against Atalanta.
Varane limped off after 38 minutes, adding to Solskjaer's concerns with fellow centre-back Victor Lindelof also doubtful.
Solskjaer said Varane will be assessed on Wednesday.
"He didn't want to risk anything. First assessment does not look good. Fingers crossed," the United boss said.
