Manchester United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has explained his blow-up with Juan Mata during victory over Norwich City.

The pair had an angry exchange before halftime of the 4-0 win.

Later, Solskjaer joked: "I asked how he felt, and how his family was doing.

"No, then. There were only a few things we talked about earlier.

"It was just tactical stuff. We talk together during the training week about what we want him to do. One must let Juan find the solutions. I can't find the solutions for him from the sideline, but we want him to get the ball as much as he can.

"It was important that he kept trying to find room.

"He was brilliant. When we get Juan right, he manages to find passes and positions. I'm delighted with him."
