Manchester United boss David Moyes says he's a big fan of Japanese midfielder Shinji Kagawa.
Moyes said he is looking forward to working with the midfielder, signed by Sir Alex Ferguson a year ago for £17million from Borussia Dortmund.
"I'm looking forward to working with him," said Moyes. "I'm looking forward to getting to know Shinji.
"Sir Alex told me lots of good things about Shinji. It was his first season in the Premier League last year.
"He's a young player, so we hope his development continues, and I look forward to personally working with him.
"Hopefully he has a really good season coming up.
"I know a little bit about him as a player. Sir Alex spoke in glowing terms about Shinji and how good a player he is.
"I've just met him today so we're getting to know each other. I'm trying to learn my Japanese, he's trying to understand my Scottish!"
