Manchester United boss David Moyes insists he did not drop Marouane Fellaini for defeat to Newcastle United.
Fellaini was missing from the squad for the dismal 1-0 loss, as was Chris Smalling.
Moyes said: "Felli had a bruised back and Chris Smalling had a tight hamstring, so that is why both of them weren't available."
