Manchester United boss David Moyes says it'll take a "miracle" for Michael Carrick and Robin van Persie to feature in the festive programme.
But Moyes has not given up hope of one of them returning in time for the games against Hull, Norwich or Tottenham.
He said: "There are always miracles at Christmas so let us hope there is one for Robin van Persie and Michael Carrick.
"This is the time when miracles happen. You just never know."
