Man Utd boss Moyes admits selection dilemma over in-form Welbeck

Manchester United boss David Moyes is expected to stick with Robin van Persie today against Liverpool.

Although van Persie is likely to start for the Red Devil, Moyes admitted Danny Welbeck's form had given him much to ponder.

"Danny is looking sharp," said the United boss. "I said that to him two weeks ago.

"He came back [from injury] and scored us a few goals, then dipped after Christmas time, but there are signs he is getting sharper again. There's a sparkle in his eyes again. That can only be good for us.

"When we were without Wayne and Robin for a while, he got us the goals and he helped us. He's a really good player and I like him a lot. He give us a lot of good attributes.

"He's different from the other two [van Persie and Wayne Rooney] we have mentioned. He has a chance. He can play off the left, play through the middle. He gives us a different variation."
