Manchester United boss Ryan Giggs says Phil Jones will be fit for the World Cup. It was feared Jones would be unavailable after injuring his left shoulder in United's win over Hull on Tuesday.

"Phil's injury isn't as bad as I thought on the night," said Giggs.

"He's obviously out for Southampton but should be OK for the World Cup. We are still monitoring it but it doesn't look too bad."
