Manchester United boss Sir Alex Ferguson was delighted with two-goal Ashley Young after victory at Tottenham.
United scored completely against the run of play through Wayne Rooney before a sublime Ashley Young double sealed the points.
"First goal, right on half-time, also I think was a killer blow for them. They'd be sitting in the dressing room wondering how they were 1-0 down.
"It's an incredible result for us. Okay, after the second goal, we played very well, and the third goal was a magnificent effort by Ashley Young, absolutely brilliant effort, stunning shot.
"Unfair on Tottenham, no question about that - they played very well.
"But in context of all the teams who've come here, you can see why it's such a great result for us."
Tottenham scored a consolation through substitute Jermain Defoe and also had an Emmanuel Adebayor goal controversially ruled out when the game was still 0-0.
Ferguson said: "The ball was going in and he stopped it from going in the net. I don't know why he's done that.
"But he definitely handballed it."Ferguson said: "We needed the second goal, really, to get us home. That killed them, really.
