Manchester United boss Sir Alex Ferguson is delighted with the impact of Robin van Persie.

Chelsea were the biggest summer spenders, shelling out £80million.

But it is the £22m Fergie spent on Van Persie he hopes makes the biggest difference.

He added: "We bought him for that reason - to make a difference.

"His performances are getting better. Last week against Stoke and on Tuesday against Braga his movement was fantastic."
