Manchester United boss Sir Alex Ferguson believes Luis Suarez cost Kenny Dalglish his Liverpool job. Dalglish was sacked by Liverpool owner John W Henry at the end of last season.

And Manchester United chief Fergie is convinced the way Dalglish handled the Suarez situation, after he was accused of racially abusing Patrice Evra, cost him.

Ferguson said: "I wasn't surprised at Kenny leaving. Henry has looked at the Suarez incident and felt it wasn't handled right."
