Manchester United boss Sir Alex Ferguson has been rumbled.
The Mirror says Ferguson famously guards his team selections, but rival bosses need only look at his pre-match Champions League press conferences for info on his line-up. For whichever player lines up alongside Fergie for the pre-match media briefing, chances are he's not playing.
When United played Benfica, Anderson faced the media but didn't play, while Ji-Sung Park was chosen in Bucharest, for the game against Otelul Gatali, but also didn't feature. And when United faced Galati at Old Trafford last week, Darren Fletcher was put up at the pre-match press conference but - surprise, surprise - didn't play.
Of the four players put up by United ahead of their Champions League group games this season, only Ashley Young - against Basel - has played.
