Manchester United boss Sir Alex Ferguson scoffed at reporters over claims his team is struggling in Europe.

United's rivals Manchester City lost 2-1 to Napoli in Italy, leaving their chances of qualification hanging by a thread.

And when a journalist suggested the two teams were struggling in Europe, Ferguson hit back, saying: "Are you serious?"

The smiling Scot then rose out of his chair and headed for the exit before adding: "We're not struggling."
