Manchester United boss Sir Alex Ferguson made a personal appearance at Javier Hernandez's work permit hearing.
Ferguson was a relieved man last night as Javier Hernandez was finally granted a work permit to join Manchester United on July 1.
The Old Trafford boss attended the hearing and made a personal plea for the £7million striker, 21, to be given the green light to move to Old Trafford.
United had already agreed the deal with his Mexican club Chivas but, initially, it could not be rubber-stamped as he had not played in 75 per cent of his country's matches over the last two years.
