David Beckham says Manchester United boss Sir Alex Ferguson was correct in dropping Wayne Rooney for their draw at Everton.
Beckham, who made his first start for LA Galaxy for eight months in their 3-1 win over Columbus Crew, has backed his former boss to handle the situation in the right way..
"Sir Alex Ferguson knows more than me and definitely knows more than anyone about his players," he said..
"He has obviously made a decision what is best for him and for his team."
