Manchester United boss Sir Alex Ferguson says their Treble hopes have been lifted by improvements to the Old Trafford pitch.

Ferguson had said it had "collapsed" post-Christmas.

"The pitch has improved a tremendous amount," he said.

"By the time we play Norwich I expect it will be back to normal so hopefully we can take advantage."
