Manchester United boss Sir Alex Ferguson has revealed Phil Jones will be fit for their Boxing Day clash with Wigan Athletic.

There had been fears he'd fractured his cheekbone after a clash with Fulham's Clint Dempsey on Wednesday.

"Phil Jones should be okay for Monday," Ferguson said. "We feared the worst but there is no break."
