Manchester United boss Sir Alex Ferguson is furious with England U21 coach Stuart Pearce.

Ferguson blasted Pearce for revealing Phil Jones has shingles.

Ferguson said: "Phil Jones should be OK irrespective of Stuart Pearce declaring he had shingles, which we thought was in the doctor's confidence.

"You're dealing with a big unit in the FA in terms of how news can leak out and it's spread to too many places. We're disappointed in that."
