Man Utd boss Ferguson feud with Kenyon rumbles on

Manchester United boss Sir Alex Ferguson hinted his feud with former chief executive Peter Kenyon remains unresolved.

The Daily Mail says Ferguson said in Wednesday's Manchester United statement about David Gill's departure that he had enjoyed working with Gill and Martin Edwards - his bosses for 23 of his 26 years as United manager. Pointedly there was no mention of Peter Kenyon, the Old Trafford chief executive for the other three years.

Fergie is understood never to have forgiven Kenyon for leaving for Chelsea, not least because then United target Arjen Robben ended up at Stamford Bridge. Kenyon is now running a third-party ownership football fund, having recovered from serious illness.
