Manchester United boss Sir Alex Ferguson was pleased with David De Gea's debut in their 3-1 friendly win over Chicago Fire.
Ferguson conceded had no chance with Cory Gibbs' opener.
"He was impressive," reflected the United boss of his £18million summer recruit from Atletico Madrid.
"He is always handling shots and saving well. Technically he is very good.
"When they scored the first goal I thought he could have come out more but when I looked at it again he had absolutely no chance.
"Overall, he was great today."
