Manchester United boss Sir Alex Ferguson admits he's a big fan of Arsenal star Jack Wilshere. Ferguson feels his English youngsters ­- plus the likes of Arsenal's Wilshere - will be vital to ­England's future.

He makes no secret of his admiration for Wilshere, but he cautions against English expectations.

"Some years ago the same was said about a lot of the England players and it never materialised.

"So you have to wait and see if this group is better than the one before," he added.
