Manchester United boss Sir Alex Ferguson admits he's taken a bet on Real Madrid star Cristiano Ronaldo finishing the Spanish Liga's top scorer.
An in-form Ronaldo scored his seventh goal in five games for Real against Villarreal, having begun in the Champions League with two long-range strikes and Ferguson said: "He was a great bet, 7-1 to be the top scorer. Did I take it? Absolutely!
"I saw his goal on Wednesday, what a goal. He has done well to get seven goals right away."
Ferguson thinks there is a chance he could even emulate his haul of 42 goals at United two seasons ago.
"He's started very well. They play 38 league games, European games, Spanish Cup, so you never know."
