Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson admits even he is not immune from sack talk.
Ferguson expects to come under just as much pressure as Chelsea's Carlo Ancelotti or Liverpool's Roy Hodgson if United's form slumps.
Ferguson, now in his 70th year, said: "Nothing surprises me any more and if I was to lose a few games people would be doing the same to me, there's no doubt about that. Three or four years ago my shelf life was up and I was out of the door and that's just the way it is today.
"I would like to see the day when people start talking about sacking players.
"Players should be judged the same way as managers.
"Of course it's not fair, but managers are on their own really and they take great credit for how they keep their dignity and their resilience to carry on. It's something about all of us."
