Man Utd boss Ferguson actively putting together Ronaldo bid

Manchester United boss Sir Alex Ferguson hasn't shelved bringing Real Madrid star Cristiano Ronaldo back to Old Trafford this summer.

The Sun says top of Fergie's list of summer targets are, of course, strikers.

Borussia Dortmund's Robert Lewandowski is close to an £18m move to Old Trafford.

But Ferguson is also keen on one of Europe's most wanted in Atletico Madrid's prolific £50m-rated Radamel Falcao.

And all plans could go out the window if United entice Cristiano Ronaldo back to the club.

Ronaldo has two years left on his Real contract and refused to sign a new deal.

United could get him for £65m after selling him in 2009 for £80m - and that would be the biggest statement Fergie's new champions could make.
