Jonny Evans has praised Manchester United for the way they have dealt with his six-match suspension.
?The 27-year old defender was banned by the FA after being involved in a spitting incident with Newcastle United's Papiss Cisse earlier this month and although it has been tough not playing, he says the club and manager louis van Gaal have backed him the whole way.
?"The club have been brilliant with me," he told Sky Sports News HQ.
?"When the charge came in they let me get on with it and the manager was excellent with me. He just said 'do whatever you have to do' and left it at that."?
