Man Utd aim to fast-track Falcao visa in Miami

Manchester United are working with the British Consulate in Miami to fast-track Radamel Falcao's UK visa.

The Telegraph says Falcao, on-loan from AS Monaco, left Manchester within hours of completing his transfer in order to link up with the Colombia squad ahead of Friday's friendly against Brazil at Miami's Sun Life Stadium.

And with Louis van Gaal determined to have the 28-year-old in his squad for the Premier League encounter with Queens Park Rangers at Old Trafford on Sept 14, efforts are being made to accelerate Falcao's availability by cutting through red tape during his four-day trip to Florida.

Although obtaining a work permit for the player will be a formality, the former Atlético Madrid and Porto striker must still go through the process of an interview for a working visa before being able to make his United debut.
