Manchester United ace Wayne Rooney admits he based a lot of his game on Finnish legend Jari Litmanen. Rooney says he grew up modeling his game on the former Ajax, Barcelona and Liverpool attacker.

"There are so many strikers that I liked, but my favorite was Litmanen," said the Englishman to NIS. "He was not the fastest player, but he always found the open space.

"I tried to learn the most from him."
