Oldham boss Paul Dickov has lauded on-loan Manchester City youngsters Luca Scapuzzi and Andreas Mancini since their arrival at Boundary Park last week. The Italian forward duo made brief debuts in the 2-0 defeat to Bury on Saturday.
Dickov also thanked his City counterpart Roberto Mancini - father of 19-year-old Andreas - and assistant David Platt for agreeing to the loan.
"Obviously we`ve been speaking to Roberto and David Platt and they`ve been fantastic with us to give us the two lads," he told Sky Sports News. "As well as adding depth to your squad it adds a lot of quality as well.
"They`re both great kids. The main thing that you look at before their footballing ability is their attitude before they come in, and their attitude has been top class.
"They`ve come from a big club and from a foreign country as well and mixed in with all the boys and they`re working hard which is great to see."
