Manchester City reportedly made an offer for West Ham United's Reece Oxford on Monday night.
Reports suggest that City made a formal approach to sign the highly-rated 17-year-old who they have been watching at the U19 European Championships.
It is understood that a £10million bid has been made for Oxford but The Telegraph suggests that City will have to offer more if they want West Ham to seriously consider a sale of their talented asset.
German club Red Bull Leipzig had a £10m proposal turned down earlier in the summer indicating that City will need to increase their bid if they want to lure Oxford from East London
