Manchester City hope to rebuild their relationship with New York City FC over the Frank Lampard row.
City have invited New York to train and play two warm-up matches - against St Mirren and Brondby - at their new Etihad Campus training and academy complex next month, says the Daily Express.
Lampard will now get the chance to meet his new team-mates, including New York's other designated star player, David Villa, the former Valencia and Barcelona striker.
New York head coach Jason Kreis said: "St Mirren and Brondby will provide top class opposition for us ahead of our first competitive MLS game against Orlando on March 8."
