Manchester City are ready to upgrade the contracts of three senior players.

The Athletic says City are close to securing new deals with Ederson, Phil Foden and John Stones.

Brazil goalkeeper is set to extend his deal by three years, while Foden and Stones are set to also pen longer contracts.

The three players were key to last season's Premier League title triumph and run to the Champions League final.

City management aim to extend the contracts of all three before the market shuts.
